'Community' Rap: Levar Allen Calls Out NBC (VIDEO)

Posted: Updated:
"Community" fan Levar Allen creates rap.

NBC, for the love of Annie's Boobs, don't pull a Britta and cancel "Community"! That's the gist of this awesome fan's rap for the cult-hit, low-rated NBC comedy.

"Community" fan Levar Allen became displeased with NBC's unfriendly treatment of "Community," starring Chevy Chase, Joel McHale, Alison Brie, Gillian Jacobs, Yvette Nicole Brown, Donald Glover, Ken Jeong and Jim Rash. So he took to YouTube to express his feelings via rap. Allen takes jabs at the network execs who shelved the show for three months between December 2011 and March 2012, while dropping "Community" references like "the darkest timeline" and "Britta'd."

Check out the video below and see what some of the "Community" cast and creator Dan Harmon had to say about the fan-created song. Hat tip to Flavorwire for bringing this video to our attention.
