'People Like Us' Trailer: Elizabeth Banks, Chris Pine Are Siblings

FIRST LOOK: 'People Like Us'

Alex Kurtzman is known for writing big-budget action movies ("Mission: Impossible III," "Star Trek," etc.), but don't expect any major explosions in his directorial debut, "People Like Us."

The movie stars Elizabeth Banks -- minus the Effie Trinket makeup from "The Hunger Games" -- and Chris Pine as long-lost siblings who never knew the other existed. However, when their father dies, his last wish is for Sam (Pine) to track down the sister he never met -- Frankie (Banks) -- and hand her $150,000.

Obviously, this movie doesn't quite follow the typical boy-meet-girl rom-com format, let alone Kurtzman's usual action-packed resume.

You can watch the full trailer above. "People Like Us," which also stars Michelle Pfeiffer and John Favreau, hits theaters June 29.
