Rihanna Debuts Dark And Edgy Hairdo, Yea Or Nay? (PHOTOS)

Rihanna's back to black! The "Rude Boy" singer dyed her ever-changing tresses yet again.

This time the 24-year-old superstar, who most was recently sporting a blonde coif, showed off the dark and stormy hue in a trio of pics via Twitter, stating: "I was missing she, but I aint ready to chop ha."

And never one for subtlety, RiRi added some edge to the hairstyle by shaving a small section above her left ear (thankfully she didn't go for a full on Willow Smith buzz cut--there's only so much of that we can take).

Today she stepped out in her jet black locks while promoting the film "Battleship" aborad an aircraft carrier at the U.S. 7th Fleet's headquarters in Yokosuka, Japan. RiRi was decked out in a head-to-toe black Givenchy ensemble, complete with long leather gloves, keeping with the moody feel of her darker 'do.

Although it will probably only last a few days, we're really digging this look--what about you?

It will take getting used to, because it's a change. But she's young, she can don blue hair like Katy Perry. She's gorgeous,regardless. Like Janet Jackson,she can be bald and still be easy on the eyes.

Well, love her, hate her or indifferent. One things for sure, Rihanna is a beautiful young woman. Yes, her fashion sense (right now) can be extreme and over-the-top. That's just something a lot of the young pop artist do. Mostly, it's comes from music executives who are trying to appeal to a specific demographic. But, strip away the garbage and all you have standing before you is pure, undeniable ebony beauty.

What exactly is edgy about going with your natural hair color? Tired of seeing women with fake everything. Rihanna can't even sing - a friend's dad used to be her voice coach. She's pretty, but just a pretty face and an empty head.

I don't care what this greedy woman looks like. I have no respect for her. She sets a bad example for young girls everywhere by newly collaborating with the punk who beat her to a pulp. Shameful--and shame on you, Huffington Post, for promoting ANYTHING she does. While being a role model might not be her job, she should still consider that millions of teenage girls comprise the majority of her fan base. Her message rings loud and clear, "It's okay to get beat up now and then as long as you make big money out of exploiting yourself later on." Nice. She's definitely an artist to look up to. Why not bring attention to other rising artists such as Esperanza Spalding or Janelle Monae? Those talented young women exemplify dignity and happen to have beautiful, natural hair. Go figure.
