There's nothing I love more than a good mystery device, and that's exactly where we begin this week's THIS WEEK IN APPLE RUMORS!

Haphazard Japanese rumor emporium (and Apple-centric website) Macotakara claims that Apple is working on a 5-inch device with a Retina display for release in 2013.

Here's my question about said device: #$@*&#$$#*&^#*&#??????

Is it a humongous iPhone? A tiny tablet? An all-glass remote control for a hypothetical Apple-branded HD television?

(Mandatory buzz-kill: Macotakara is not the most reliable news source; also, all tech companies make many prototypes that never make it to market. Sorry, Charlie.)

Anyway, with visions of the Apple Galaxy iNote dancing in your heads, let us turn to some more realistic, imminent (yet still questionable) Apple rumors from the final week of this wonderful March...

iTV....uh, no..iPass.

Hear the iPhone 5 may be out in the Fall, just in time for holiday shopping. The 4S will all of a sudden take a $100 discount, if not more.
