One team is going for perfection. The other is trying to complete some unfinished business.
Led by Brittney Griner, the Baylor Lady Bears are just one win away from their second ever national championship along with becoming the first team in NCAA history to win 40 games.
But All-American Skylar Diggins and the Fighting Irish, who lost to Texas A&M in the national title game last year, have different plans.
"We've had one goal all season long," Diggins said. "We've wanted to get back here and play in this game."
Will Baylor complete the perfect season? Or will Notre Dame play the role of the Super Bowl XLII champions New York Giants and spoil the party?

BAYLOR BEATS NOTRE DAME 80-61 TO WIN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP. LADY BEARS FINISH THE SEASON AT 40-0!
The Baylor bench is celebrating. 30.6 seconds left until the Lady Bears are crowned national champs!
Griner is taken out of the game and gets a huge ovation from the Baylor crowd as she hugs each of her coaches.
Diggins makes both and Sims has fouled out with 19 points. 77-58 Baylor with under two minutes to play.
Griner gets a pass at the top of the key and didn't appear to expect it and misses a jumper. But she wouldn't be denied the next possession and makes another short 2. 77-56 Baylor with 2:30 to go.

Brittany Mallory goes down hard and appeared to land on her left shoulder. She's in pain and hasn't gotten up yet. Looks like her leg got tangled with Griner's and she fell over.
Condrey cuts to the elbow, gets the pass and swishes the jumper. The Baylor crowd can feel it now.
Sims goes backdoor, gets the pass and makes the wide open layup. Baylor has its biggest lead of the game. 66-50 Baylor with 7 minutes to go. They didn't even guard Sims who inbounded the ball to Griner, who was triple teamed again. So Sims was wide open.

Sims launches a 3 from deep on the right wing and NAILS it. 64-50 with under eight minutes to go.
Diggins drives to her left and puts up a running floater over Griner and it goes in. 61-50 Baylor with 8:45 to go.
Griner gets TRIPLE TEAMED down on the post and still makes the fadeaway shot AND ONE. She shows some emotion after that one. Now she's pumped up and makes the free throw. That's 24 for her. 61-48 Baylor.
Griner posts up on the post, gets the ball and turns around for the short bank shot. Again, she just can't be stopped when she gets the ball that close to the basket. Nothing Notre Dame can do.
