Matthew McConaughey Joins Guy Fierie At A Texas Diner On 'Diners, Drive-Ins And Dives'

For the new season premiere of "Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" (Mon., 10 p.m. ET on Food), Guy Fieri headed up north to sample some pizza at Pizzeria Lola in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and then down south to hang with the coolest guy on the planet at a classic 1950s diner.

It was the odd pairing of Fieri and Matthew McConaughey, who was as cool and laid back as ever. McConaughey is entertaining in general, so adding his Southern charm to Fieri's own exuberance created a surprisingly good blend of excitement, humor and entertainment.

McConaughey was so enthusiastic about the food, he offered his creative services by coming up with a new name for one of the diner's dishes. The dish is a combination of an enchilada and a casserole, so McConaughey's suggestion was a combination of those two words: Cashilada. Sounds expensive, but delicious.

"Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives" airs every Monday at 10 p.m. ET on Food.
