Julianna Margulies: I Haven't Watched 'ER' In Years ... Except My Return To The Series

Julianna Margulies Stopped Watching 'ER' Until ...

Julianna Margulies has been a familiar face to TV fans for close to 20 years, thanks to her star-making role on NBC's "ER." But, Margulies didn't exactly keep up after the left the series.

"The last time I watched an episode of 'ER,' oh my goodness, a full on episode was probably the last episode I did where George Clooney comes -- I go to him and we ride off into the sunset. And that was probably ... 10 years ago," Margulies told Vanity Fair with a laugh.

Well, close. Margulies left "ER" -- she turned down $27 million to stay -- at the end of Season 6 in 2000. However, Margulies and Clooney returned to "ER" during Season 15, the final season, in 2009. "Oh no! Sorry. Then we both came back for a reunion," Margulies recalled later. (Watch the interview on VanityFair.com here.) "I watched that episode. So that was about four years ago."

Margulies, who currently stars as Alicia Florrick in "The Good Wife," along with "Downton Abbey's" Michelle Dockery, "Homeland" star Claire Danes and "Modern Family" scene-stealer Sofia Vergara, appear on the cover of Vanity Fair's TV issue ... and they're all in bed together.

Similarly, Danes hasn't seen "My So-Called Life" in quite a while. "I don't really have any excuse either because apparently it's still on the air," Danes told Vanity Fair. "It has this incredibly long afterlife, which I'm very touched by." The cult-hit series aired 19 episodes from 1994-95 on ABC.

Hey Claire, if you're interested, the show is on Hulu.
