Katie Couric GMA: Team Takes Day Out In Times Square, Poses With 'Today' Show Wax Models

WATCH: Katie Couric Settles In Over At 'GMA'

Katie Couric settled into her second day guest-hosting ABC's "Good Morning America" on Tuesday by bonding with her new team.

After Monday's show, Couric's new co-hosts took her on a tour of Times Square. The group went bowling and ate pizza. They also visited wax museum Madame Tussauds and posed with the many models of celebrities, including Couric's former colleagues. As Couric walked by wax models of Al Roker and Matt Lauer, the entire team gathered around their morning show rivals to take a photo. "Good Morning America!" the group yelled as onlookers snapped photographs.

The war between the two morning shows reached new heights as "GMA" announced Couric's week-long gig in an attempt to stop "Today's" 16-year winning streak as the number one morning show on television.

NBC fired back after hearing that the show's former darling was hosting with the enemy. "Today" announced that Sarah Palin would guest-host Tuesday's show.
