Wisconsin Democrats File Complaint Against Mitt Romney, Paul Ryan Over Sub Sandwiches

Posted: 04/ 3/2012 5:09 pm Updated: 04/ 3/2012 5:45 pm

Shorewood Patch:

The Democratic Party of Wisconsin is alleging that Republican presidential frontrunner Mitt Romney and U.S. Rep. Paul Ryan committed election bribery by offering "subs for votes" in Waukesha on Tuesday.

Party Chairman Mike Tate said at press conference that Democrats will file a complaint with the Government Accountability Board, the state agency that oversees elections in Wisconsin.

Video captured by Patch shows Romney and Ryan handing out the sub sandwiches. Additionally, a video edited by the state Democratic Party shows Romney leading a rally and telling supporters to go vote, and "If they want another sandwich, there are more back there."

After all the laws of God and Man that Romney has broken throughout his life, if he were to go down for this, it would be like Al Capone getting jailed over tax evasion.

I gotta admit it....Republicans are cheap!  Romney offered his supporters a free sub...or part of one.

Meanwhile, obama promises  more Food Stamps for all....PLUS he will pay your mortgage and put gas in your car!

Really? You're eligible for food stamps? You have my sympathy, but I'm willing to pay my taxes to feed you if you have nothing to eat. Tell me about those programs wherein Obama has promised to pay your mortgage and put gasoline in your car. Thankfully, I'm not in the position of needing assistance from other, but I understand that the Repubs have program that will guarantee you forfeit your house and work at a job that doesn't pay enough to own a car, much less fill it with gas, so you won't have to worry if they get elected.

Everytime that Mitt wins a primary, he or one of his campaign people commit a gaffe that dominates the news the next day.  Now, tomorrow will be dominated by sub sandwiches.  You would think that a man running for President for 6 yrs. and a "Young Gun" budget guru for the Republicans would know that handing out sandwiches to voters is against the law.

It may well be against the law, but it won't seem worth much of a complaint. The sub war will sink quickly.

Romney knows that Republicans are so committed to their candidates
that a free sandwich can make the difference.

Those media types got his whole thing totally wrong . Mitt offered to sell the sandwiches for a huge amount of money and keep the amount secret as to not violate the buyers civil rights . Ryan then stepped in and stole the subs of a mother on welfare and then offered the subs back to subway so they could hire more workers .....
