William Levy has been turning up the heat on ABC’s “Dancing with the Stars” for several weeks now, but his sexy salsa routine on last night’s show was so blazing hot—it almost required a call to the fire department!
Wearing a guayabera shirt and playing the conga, Levy kicked off his high-energy performance as soon as he hit the stage, twirling, spinning—even dipping—his partner Cheryl Burke a number of times before Burke ripped his shirt open, revealing the Cuban hunk’s washboard abs and rockhard pecs. She also yanked the hat off his head and put it on herself. Caliente!
After that, Levy, who already had the crowd under his spell, went on to shake and thrust his hips (Ricky Martin-style) and started rubbing his hands on Burke's legs and stomach.
The audience loved the sexy performance and so did the judges. “You put a whole new meaning into ‘Free Willy.’ I’m telling you — that was loose, it was oily," judge Len Goodman said, adding that William "conquered the salsa!" Bruno Tonioli called the performance "amazing," and Carrie Ann Inaba replied, “You are ridiculous. That was ridiculously hot.”
Overall, Levy and Burke earned a score of 28 out of 30 total points, including a 10 from Bruno. The couple took second place for the night behind Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas, who earned the first 10s of the season and finished first on the leaderboard with 29 out of 30 points.
While the sexy performance worked to get Levy a great score -- and won the audience over -- Levy told Us Weekly backstage after the show that he was hesitant about revealing so much skin on the ABC series. "I don't want people to have the feeling that I just want to show my body," he said. "I am here to dance and have fun, not about, 'Oh, I'm hot and I'm in shape.' You know? Sometimes it's more than that!"
Levy’s partner Cheryl Burke added that it "wasn't easy" convincing Levy to strip. "It was a little bit of a battle, but he did it!" she said.
