Obama & Nichelle Nichols Pose For 'Star Trek' Themed Picture (PHOTO)

President Obama flashed the Vulcan salute when Nichelle Nichols paid him a visit at the White House. The 'Star Trek' legend, who played Lt. Uhura aboard the USS Enterprise, posed with him in February but waited until Tuesday night to tweet the photo, which she has made her Twitter avatar.

I just love that Obama did the Vulcan hand gesture! He's worth another term just for that! Nichelle is a total legend As MLK told her, what she did on Star Trek was amazingly important to the Civil rights movement! She was going to quit and MLK begged her not to.
