Purrfect: Wendy Williams Makes Fun Of Cee Lo's Cat (VIDEO)

Cee Lo Green's cat Purrfect has become the breakout star of "The Voice" and a genuine social media phenomenon this season, racking up 45,000 Twitter followers.

But Wendy Williams isn't feeling the warm and fuzzies like Purrfect's legions of adoring fans. Thursday on "The Wendy Williams Show" (weekdays on Fox) she poked fun at Cee Lo's relationship with the beloved feline by pointing out the fact that Purrfect isn't actually Cee Lo's cat; she was rented by the show. "I'm real disappointed, so that's not your real cat?" she joked.

It's true. Purrfect is actually owned by an agency called Benay's Bird and Animal Rentals, who have been supplying TV shows and commercials with pet talent since 1982. In an interview with Paw Nation, Purrfect's owner did say that despite the fact that the cat's a rental, Purrfect and Cee Lo are still "soul mates."

Meanwhile, HuffPost TV doesn't care if Purrfect is really Cee Lo's cat or not, we still love her.
