Bill Murray Throws First Pitch At Wrigley Field, Slides Home (VIDEO)

WATCH: Bill Murray Throws First Pitch

The one and only Bill Murray honored his favorite baseball team Thursday by throwing out the first pitch of the season at Wrigley Field before the Cubs played the Washington Nationals.

After being announced, Murray walked onto the field, threw the pitch, waved at the crowd and then went back to his seat to eat a hot dog. Just kidding! He actually delighted everyone with a surprise run around the bases and dedicated slide into home base in true Bill Murray fashion.

Murray's comedy/sports antics immediately brought us back to last February, when Will Ferrell announced the starting lineup at an NBA game. When comedy and sports mix, you can usually expect something great to happen.
