Kelly Osbourne NewNowNext Awards Gig Requires 7 Different Outfits (PHOTOS)

Hosting an awards show requires plenty of costume changes, as Anne Hathaway proved at the 2011 Oscars (with plenty of help from Rachel Zoe).

But Kelly Osbourne truly stepped up to the plate as host of the NewNowNext Awards, held by Logo on Thursday night. Serving as the host as well as a nominee in the "Beyond Style" category, Kelly wore a whopping SEVEN different outfits throughout the evening -- and we actually really liked several of of them.

For the red carpet, the "Fashion Police" co-host kept things simple in a metallic cocktail dress with a cowl neck. But she didn't stay in it for long, switching into (among other things) a Dorothy costume, superhero-inspired outfit (cape included!), an awesome orange maxi skirt and a rather flattering black evening gown.

Kelly is know for her daring sense of style (we are, after all, talking about a 27-year-old with gray hair), but she really brought her A-game for her hosting gig. Perhaps it's because she was facing off against Andrej Pejić, China Chow, Jeremy Scott and Sean Avery for the Beyond Style Award?

If so, then well played: Kelly tied with Andrej, one of our favorite models, for the honor.

I hate the ink. Hate the ink. It's hideous when you are so fashion-minded. It looks like some kid used you for a wall to mark on. (I have a small tattoo I got when I was 21).
It is distracting for this avenue of interest.

I like Kelly because she's quirky but critiquing others on fashion...really? It never ceases to amaze me on how celebrities children can land lucrative jobs (on-camera) without a shred of experience and most times no education, yet Jane or Joe Eddie Schmoe can't even get an interview for a position on-air because they don't have experience or education. Wow! Isn't that a nasty little sharp double-edged sword.

According to photo number 8 , Kelly doesn't need to be revealing any beauty secrets because she doesn't have any. I wish she would color her hair a real color. I like Kelly but have never understood how she has the job she has of critiquing celebs because there is lots to critique about Kelly.

Can you say Joan Rivers?  What is her expertise?  She says nasty things about people and Kelly laughs, that's the show.

I resent the media trying to sell me ugly wrapped up as pretty. There are many jobs where your looks play no role and they never should yet this woman chose one that does.
