6 Of The Latest Advances In Oil Spill Cleanup

On April 20, 2010, the British Petroleum Deepwater Horizon drilling rig exploded in the Gulf of Mexico, killing 11 men and releasing as much as 5 million barrels of crude oil into the sea. It is believed that as many as 53,000 barrels of oil a day flowed from the broken well until BP was able to stem the release on July 15, 2010. It was the biggest offshore spill in U.S. history. But perhaps one of the more disturbing aspects of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill was the cleanup.

Here are the 'advances' I saw at work with the revolutionary Gulf Oil Spill Clean up:

1) Spray toxic chemical that sinks it out of sight
2) Make sure you put the Coast Guard and Local Law Enforcement in your pocket
3) Use gov't law enforcement/military to deny anyone access to spill
4) Use your own people to do 'sniff tests' on any fish/shellfish that are sold from area waters
5) Continue to lie, lie, lie about how bad it is, what's being done and how much you care
6) Drop some Xanax at your Congressional hearing and appear too zoned to answer squat.
