April truly is the cruelest month -- not only are we taunted with summer-like weather only to have it abruptly taken away, but the government also demands we cough up a year's worth of taxes.
Luckily, the folks at GrubHub have surveyed Chicago's vast food options to find meals that won't burden your wallet. The mobile food-ordering platform culled through millions of menu items within 80 cuisine types to rank their affordability by cuisine.
Top cheap cuisines in the nation include Jamaican, Halal and pizza, but Chicago's list is a little more nuanced.
