The FBI named Eric Justin Toth, an alleged child pornographer, to its Ten Most Wanted list.

Eric Justin Toth was 26 and a third-grade teacher in a Washington, D.C. private school in 2008 when authorities accused him of possession of kiddie porn.
Another teacher at Beauvoir, an elite school, discovered graphic photos and videos of students on a school camera issued to Toth, an FBI spokesperson told The Huffington Post. The school put Toth on administrative leave and contacted police. But he immediately went on the run, the FBI spokesperson said. He's also wanted in Maryland where he's accused of child porn production.
The Federal Bureau of Investigations is offering a $100,000 reward for information leading to Toth's capture. He traveled across the country after warrants were issued for his arrest nearly four years ago.
First, Toth drove to Indianapolis where he visited his parents, according to the FBI. They were unaware that he was suspected of any crime.
The FBI traced his movements to the Twin Cities where in August 2008 his car was found parked at the Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport. Agents allegedly found additional pornographic images of children in the car. Evidence also suggests that he visited Wisconsin and Illinois.
A tipster claimed he saw Toth living in a Phoenix homeless shelter in 2009, but the fugitive took off again before law enforcement could catch him. That was the last reported sighting of Toth.
Toth is 6’3”, weighs about 155 pounds and has brown hair and green eyes. He's worked as a camp counselor and tutor.
Toth is "well educated, charismatic and likable," an FBI spokesperson told Huff Post. He's a computer expert and may have advertised his services as a nanny or tutor. It's possible he used his deceptive personality to trick parents and get close to children again, the spokesperson said.
Toth, who's used the alias "David Bussone," takes a spot on the notorious most wanted list that became empty after Osama bin Laden was killed in Pakistan last May. The capture of alleged mobster James "Whitey" Bulger last June created another opening on the list that bureau officials said they would fill soon.

now that i think about it, he was parked in that airport because in August is when camp ends. All the kids who fly back home are taken to Minneapolis to the airport. The kids' age range from 8 to 13.
I went to the summer camp where he worked as a counselor. Yeah I was shocked when i was made aware of this. I was just 12. he was a really cool guy but now i see how he used his "likability" to take advantage of kids. sad.

Child molestation has turned into a terrible disease in this country and it's at critical mass right now it seems. It doesn't matter who you are or what you do, some of you are destined to allow your sexual behavior to get the best of your good sense and go out of control to harm somebody's child and that needs to be stopped. Harming children is definitely the end of the road as far as I'm concerned and I see no reprieve for those who do it. They must be contained and stay that way for the rest of their lives as it has not been proven that sexual deviants are treatable.

The victims' parents clearly have a lot of pull. America is teeming with child molesters. The upper class has a known affinity for child prostitution rings. Apparently, sexual abuse of working class and middle class minors is a badge of honor for the elite (Penn State, Dyn-Corp, The Church, Boystown, etc.) but abusing an elite child gets you on the Most Wanted List.

The “Top Ten” is a publicity program founded by the FBI in March of 1950 in conjunction with the nation’s news media. It is designed to publicize particularly dangerous fugitives who might not otherwise merit nationwide attention. The FBI recognizes the need for public assistance in tracking fugitives.
The individual must have a lengthy record of committing serious crimes and/or be considered a particularly dangerous menace to society due to current criminal charges.
It must be believed that the nationwide publicity afforded by the program can be of assistance in apprehending the fugitive, who, in turn, should not already be notorious due to other publicity.
During the 1970s, with the FBI’s concentration on organized crime and terrorism, the “Ten Most Wanted Fugitives” included many fugitives with organized crime ties or links to terrorist groups. In the 1980s and 1990s, the list included sexual predators, international terrorists, and drug traffickers. This emphasis, along with crimes against children, white collar crime, and gang violence, continues today.
At a minimum, a reward of up to $100,000 is offered by the FBI for information which leads directly to the arrest of a “Top Ten” fugitive. In some instances, the reward amount offered is more than $100,000.

It is so disgusting. Apparently, making and viewing child porn of the children in your care, and otherwise, is a step in a process leading to actual sexual abuse. American's are conditioned to be complacent about the causes of these issue's, but proactive on punishment. Locking people up is easy, and ineffective, and as much as this man deserves punishment. At this time in the conversation children have already been victimized.

I asked my wife the same question. An elite D.C. school certainly has parents who are well connected with the government. Putting this guy on the Most Wanted list seems a bit extreme. I certainly don't condone what he is allegedly guilty of. M.O. does not merit danger to society status.
