Just For Laughs Chicago 2012 Lineup Announced

The fourth annual Just For Laughs Chicago comedy festival is just a few months away, and the current lineup boasts over a dozen of some of today's biggest comedians.

Held across 15 locations in the windy city, the 2012 festival sponsored by TBS will take place June 12-17 with stand-up comedy and sketch performances, musical comedy acts, a naughty improv puppet show, Mike Birbiglia's off-Broadway hit "My Girlfriend’s Boyfriend," a Q&A with Kevin Smith and "more surprises" to be announced. The lineup so far is listed below:

Vince Vaughn, Aziz Ansari, Stephen Merchant, Bill Engvall, Billy Gardell, John Pinette, Patton Oswalt, John Oliver, Kevin Smith, Mike Birbiglia, Jeff Ross, Amy Schumer, The Dan Band and Henson Alternative’s 'Stuffed and Unstrung'

Headliner Aziz Ansari has already sold out his two shows at the Chicago Theater, but the rest of the tickets go on sale this Saturday, April 14 at 10:00 p.m..

Notably, original "The Office" co-creator Stephen Merchant will give a rare stand-up performance for three nights, and actor/sometimes comedian Vince Vaughn will host and perform in "a special evening of surprises and hilarity" with other comedians. Amy Schumer will single-handedly (so far) represent female comics with her own night of stand-up at at the Park West.
