Lina Husein Threatened To Kill Family After Husband Found Incriminating Messages, Cops Say

Lina Husein allegedly threatened to murder her family after her husband found incriminating messages on her cell phones

A fight over two cell phones possibly containing incriminating messages led to a woman's alleged threat to murder her family and to her arrest, cops said.

Lina Husein's husband came home Friday from a trip to Peru and found two cell phones with messages about Husein wanting to leave and being in love with someone else, according to TCPalm.

When he confronted his 30-year-old wife at about 11 a.m. and threatened to get a divorce, she allegedly went ballistic, kicking the door he was behind and screaming. Her 7- and 10-year-old children were home at the time, cops said.

Husein then grabbed a knife from the kitchen and "raised the knife above her shoulder and stated, 'I'm going to kill you and the children myself,'" according to police reports.

Cops responded to a disconnected 911 call coming from the house in Port St. Lucie, Fla. Lina Husein was arrested on an aggravated assault charge.

I'll never understand these parents who kill or threaten to kill their kids. Just because your life SUCKS doesn't mean you have to take the children with you. Let them have a chance to do a better job with their lives than you did. Vile.

I am the husband and i want everyone to know me and the kids are safe. Lina is not allowed around us for 500 ft.When I came home from Peru, where I mine for iron ore. I saw Lina hiding something under the bed, I went back and found 2 cell phones then i confronted her.Thats when she went crazy and started threatening me and the 3 kids. Unfortunately the kids saw the whole thing and told the cops everything thats why she was arrested. The cops also came in while the knife was pointed at my neck and heard her state give me the phone or I will kill you and the kids. Since then my kids have told me how bad there mother was, she would beat them and choke them for the smallest mistakes. My kids made me get rid of all the knives in the house, thank god since she left they are 1000% happier an thats whats important to me. Thank you for all your support and god bless you all.

People married wanting to be with someone else. She's obviously been having a affair for quite a while. Most likely she will get counseling and a slap on the wrist. Her hubby maybe has a good job or money, she does'nt want to lose her secure lifestyle.

Wondering what is going on? A culture of violence and hatred breeds more of the same. The Top 14 most violent states, according to FBI statistics, are also Red States. They also perform poorly regarding educational rankings.
I know I'd rather be better educated and learn to respect others, including their differences, than to propagate hatred, ignorance, bigotry and the violence that goes along with it. How about you? Should make you want to think about where their real priorities are when this is the result...

While most of the top 14 states are red there are a few exceptions to note. New Mexico, Maryland, and Delaware are blue, Florida and Nevada are purple or swing states. The FBI and the US Census Bureau must measure things differently as there are a few states that are in the top of the Census that are not in the FBI, such as Michigan, Missouri, and Illinois.
