TLC has tapped into yet another largely unseen aspect of modern life with their new series "Mama's Boys of the Bronx" (Mon., 10 p.m. ET on TLC). The series looks at five Italian-American men in their 30s who are more than content to live at home where Mom continues to take care of them as she has since their childhood.
But before any viewers start to feel sorry for these put-upon mothers, it's not like that at all. According to The Clicker, these moms love having their boys around, even after all these years.
Though the relationships have evolved as their boys have grown into manhood. Such as when 35-year old Anthony's mother talked to him about "bringin' the sluts home."
"Ma, please just make me somethin’ to eat. I’m starvin’," Anthony said in response. If the show's a hit, does that mean mama's boys across the nation will be pitching for their city to be represented next?
"Mama's Boys of the Bronx" continues Mondays at 10 p.m. ET on TLC.
TV Replay scours the vast television landscape to find the most interesting, amusing, and, on a good day, amazing moments, and delivers them right to your browser.
