Rick Santorum Drops Out: Here Are The Worst Moments From His Presidential Campaign (VIDEO)

It's incredible he made it this far.

Ever since Rick Santorum declared his candidacy for the Republican presidential nomination last June, the former senator from Pennsylvania has been on the far-right edge of nearly every social issue, from reproductive rights and marriage equality to global warming, education and welfare.

On the campaign trail, Santorum showed little desire to appeal to moderate Republicans. Some of his most shocking moments were when he said he didn't want to make "black people's lives better" by giving them "somebody else's money," or when he told CNN's Piers Morgan that a woman who had been raped should "make the best out of a bad situation." Then there's the time when he called Barack Obama a "snob" because the president said he wanted all Americans to go to college.

Ultimately Rick's stance on porn is what lead to his decision to drop out of the presidential race. There are way more perverts out there than Rick realized and they all withheld their donations. What America really needs is porn friendly president. One who will increase this billion dollar industry into a trillion dollar industry in two years. Mark my words, America is ready for a global resurregence on porn.

Santorum ONLY succeeded to the length he did is because he was the last of the "Not Romney's" left. Every other contender, no matter how ridiculous or intellectually challenged, had his and her place in the sun for a few weeks and was actually considered by Republicans as Presidential material.

Santorum was simply the last in line - the last resort of desperation which says quite a lot about his candidacy.

I would like to think he was not going to say it, but his track record of racial flubs sort of leaned that way. But as we, in the Public Relations industry, say "perception is reality" and he did not defend himself with an alternative thought, thus the Dog Whistle theory.
