What's the soundtrack of your split?

We asked our followers on Twitter and Facebook to tell us about the songs they listened to during their splits, and created the ultimate post-divorce playlist. Yes, angsty selections from Alanis Morissette and Kelly Clarkson are predictably included, but some other picks just might surprise you.

Have a recommendation we left out? Be sure to share it in the comments.

Somebody I used to know by Gotye and if you listen to the lyrics and ironically one of the most played songs at weddings - I will always love you by Dolly/Whitney.

FOD by Green Day, Gone Forever by Three Days Grace, In The End by Linkin Park, Jar of Hearts (via Glee).... those were the songs that made me feel better. I avoided listening to anything that connected me with him -- too painful really. That was a lot of music to avoid after 20 years together!

I know for a fact this crackheaded play list would only make me more depressed after a split.
