HuffPost Arts Presents A Spotify Playlist For Art Stars

We had a very hard time making this playlist, dear readers, because there are innumerable songs about art in the world that merit your attention. Where do you start?

We began with Art Brut's ode to the Tate and ended with a certain Rolling Stones song that will echo in your head hours after the event. Why these British bookends, you ask? Well, we are avid fans of rock n' roll at HuffPost Arts, and you can't get much better than Mick Jagger's swagger. (Sorry, Beatles fans.) Don't worry, we've also included some booty shaking Boney M, the weird musings of the Talking Heads, and Paul Simon's ruminations on the Magrittes.

The following is a mix of our favorite songs about famous artists and those who are still waiting for their moment in the spotlight. Hopefully you can add to it in the comments section below.
