'The Real Housewives Of Orange County': Alexis Learns A Woman's Place
It was a weird scene on "The Real Housewives of Orange County" (Tue., 9 p.m. ET on Bravo). On the one hand, there was Tamra rejecting the idea that her worth is tied to her beauty -- and her beauty is tied to her breast size -- by having her breast implants removed. On the other, there was Alexis' husband Jim trying to teach her her place.
Jim said, "Wives stay home," and then followed it up with, "There’s only so much time in the day to raise my children." How does someone even respond to that kind of blatant and archaic sexism?
That said, he's not wrong in thinking that Alexis may not be cut out for the working world. She proved to be a bit of a trainwreck on the job, creating one of the most awkward interview experiences ever witnessed by a television camera.
As for Tamra's beau, Eddie? He was sad to have to say goodbye to her bigger breasts, creating an awkward moment of his own as he said goodbye to them before the surgery.
"The Real Housewives of Orange County" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.

My favorite part of the grey-hair trend is that it demonstrates how people are thinking out of the box. This kind of approach often leads us to stumble onto a completely new way of looking at or thinking about beauty.
Yes, I understand the appeal of the Real Housewives -- and also the way they dull the minds and intellects of all who watch them. Bravo obviously doesn't own a patent on creating garbage, but it is absolutely an industry leader in its production.
