Shannen Doherty Takes Charge In 'Shannen Says' Premiere

So why was Shannen Doherty's new reality show chronicling her wedding to Kurt Iswarienko called "Shannen Says" (Tue., 10 p.m. ET on WE)? Was it because "Shannen Doherty: I'm Right And You're Stupid" was too long? That seems to sum up the actress' approach to her life. She's every bit the bad girl fans have been loving to hate to love for the past twenty-odd years.

Former "Beverly Hills, 90210" co-star Jennie Garth wished Doherty luck via Twitter. Garth is poised to enter the reality television arena later this month with "Jennie Garth: A Little Bit Country" on CMT, making her the third "90210" alum to seek out reality television after Doherty and Tori Spelling.

She spent much of the premiere doing nothing to dispel the notion that she's a bit of a diva and control freak. From dominating the wedding planning -- though that's been seen plenty on "Bridezillas" -- to controlling her fiance's Sunday activities, Doherty knows exactly what she wants, and she's not going to be satisfied until she gets it.

In that regard, reality television may be the best place for her yet. Many women have found success with similar strong personalities, and audiences love a little bit of drama, chaos and anger on their favorite guilty pleasures.

"Shannen Says" continues Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on WE.
