Divorce Concierge: Cost-Cutting Service Simplifies The Divorce Process (VIDEO)

The divorce process is undoubtedly hard to navigate. Would you pay for a service that guides you through it?

On Thursday, My Fox Atlanta highlighted the Divorce Concierge Service, which, according to the company's co-founders, Sarah Levy and Mari Lascala, helps to explain state divorce laws and make referrals for lawyers, therapists, childcare and housing. The company charges a flat fee of between $200 and $350 for services.

Having been through a divorce that initially began in mediation, I would absolutely use a service like that. Why keep fattening the wallets of attorneys who are only trying to enable your anger and bitterness? They KNOW you'll get the same deal with a mediator that you will if you EVER get to court... and for a tiny fraction of what THEY charge. They sickeningly try to appeal to the wronged spouse's revenge jones and some are stupid enough and SICK enough to fall for it.

Folks... $250-300. Mediation. Get it over with. You're not going to be able to seek your revenge in the court system. Even after paying 10k+ for the "right." Move on.
