Boy bands are back and we have proof -- every girl in Hollywood is rumored to have a crush on hot new British imports, One Direction.
Take Justin Bieber and clone him five times and you've got what could be the biggest British boy band since the Beatles. The guys already made history stateside -- debuting at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart -- and Zayn Malik, 19, Harry Styles, 18, Liam Payne, 18, Niall Horan, 18 and Louis Tomlinson, 20, are making the ladies scream.
The Daily Mail reported that 22-year-old Taylor Swift has a crush on Harry Styles, who is thought to be the real hottie of the band and reportedly has thing for older women. A source told the paper that Taylor has been smitten with Harry ever since she saw the band perform at the Kids' Choice Awards last month.
"Taylor is a huge One Direction fan and was excitedly bopping along to the boys when they performed on stage. Then she was chatting to Justin [Bieber] and told him how hot she found Harry," the source told the Daily Mail. "She really likes Harry but made Justin promise not to go on the record about it."
Somehow we doubt that ever happened, but then of course Swift reportedly also has a crush on Zac Efron, Tim Tebow and any guy in Hollywood she's caught looking at.
But if Taylor is crushing on Harry, she might want to watch out for Rihanna, who according to the Daily Mirror, is attracted to his "natural" vibe. Rihanna, 24, reportedly told reporters: "Harry, yeah. I watch their videos and I remember thinking, 'Wow, he's a star. He seems very sure. It seems, like, it's so natural to him."
Rihanna is single at the moment and she should know that Styles is totally game to get it on. On hearing Rihanna's thoughts on him, he said, "That is absolutely incredible. I'd love to hook up," reports the U.K. paper.
Meanwhile, singer Demi Lovato, 19, confessed in a webchat with MSN UK that she's totally crushing on Niall Horan and admitted, "He's so adorable." And the feelings may be mutual. "I'd like to see her, alright. She's of similar age, she seems to be a nice girl," he once said of Lovato. And he praised her recent MTV documentary "Stay Strong," calling it an "amazing story."
But we hope Selena Gomez's reported crush on Niall won't hurt her friendship with Demi or ruin her relationship with Justin Bieber. Star reports that Niall allegedly hit on Selena at the Kids' Choice Awards, which wasn't cool with Justin.
"Niall made a beeline for Selena and poured on the charm," a source told the magazine. "When he looked into her eyes and said, 'You're beautiful,' Selena melted."
The Biebs was reportedly furious when he saw the One Direction member hitting on his lady. "[Bieber] was stewing while it went down. He was ready to explode. Justin took Niall aside and warned him to keep away from Selena," said Star's source.
Justin and Selena are obviously in love and we don't think a little crush here and there is a bad thing. Plus, we aren't buying that Bieber has beef with Niall, since the boy bander tweeted last week, "in the studio with our boy @justinbieber last night , its gona sound great!" That's right, a One Direction/Justin Bieber collaboration is "very possible" confirmed Justin's manager Scooter Braun.
