Lebron is selfish to the core. Took a tinkle on his home town, his family, his best buddies, all so he could chase tail in Miami while Savannah, his baby momma, stayed home in Bath, Ohio.

I agree with a lot of these players, but Kobe being number 1? I don't agree with this at all. Kobe has showed that he can concede to his players when they are making shots throughout his career. Lebron is more selfish than Kobe in terms of on the court antics. He has only calmed down this season. I think last year took a toll on him and he's laid back. So currently, Lebron shouldn't even be on the list...but in terms of career? Lebron over Kobe easy.

No Laker fan here, but Kobe Bryant is a supreme scorer on a team bereft of other significant scoring options. this list should instead include the "No defense - lazy - me first" Carmello Anthony and not the still often magnificent, 100 % effort Bryant...And if you want to talk selfish, you must include all the MLB pitchers who take 25, 30, 35 endless seconods between individual pitches and have turned MLB into a yawnfest....

The list was focused on on-court/field selfishness, and demanding trades/bolting as free agents, but does not consider another very bad way to be selfish: demanding so much money that your team has nothing left over to pay anyone else, thus crippling the team so that player could get another 10+ million added onto the already 100+ million contract they could have "settled for."

Two examples: Peyton Manning and Kevin Garnett. Both eventually got a ring, but I think they could have had a lot more success over their careers if they had left some money on the table to acquire better teammates (more so in Garnett's case than Manning's, but they are both guilty of this).

kobe bryant has won 5 championships.....maybe charles barkley should have been as selfish...james harrison makes the list but nobody from the NO saints does????...free agents are selfish???...seriously???....and no white athletes made the list??? COMON MAN!!!!!
