David Letterman turned 65 on April 12, while Billy Crystal is right behind him at 64-years-old. So the two commiserated on the joys of growing older when Crystal appeared on "The Late Show" (weeknights, 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS). Letterman admitted to having difficulty sleeping, but Crystal said he doesn't have that problem.
"I fall asleep deep, deep 11 o'clock," he said. "I fall really [into] a deep sleep, and I wake up ready to start the day refreshed. I look at the clock, it's 1:10 am."
Crystal admitted that his urination is more like morse code now. But really, he wanted to present Letterman with a video montage of all of their celebrity friends who couldn't be there for the celebration, but wanted to wish Letterman a happy birthday.
The video even had a nice graphic as an introduction, but it turned out just to be Crystal in the green room wishing him a happy birthday. Apparently, that was all he could find, or all he bothered to do.
David Letterman is still going strong as host of "Late Show" every weeknight at 11:35 p.m. ET on CBS.
