This doesn't happen very often. Wait, has this ever happened? We all know Blake Griffin has missed a dunk before. In fact, here are 10 missed dunks by the Clippers phenom. But has he ever missed one on a fast break with literally nobody around him?
That's what happened Thursday night in the first quarter of Los Angeles' win over Minnesota. Kenyon Martin had grabbed a defensive rebound and quickly fired a pass to Chris Paul. It looked like the Clippers were going to have a 3-on-1 fast break but Minnesota's Michael Beasley went for the steal and failed, allowing CP3 to tap the ball to Griffin for a wide open dunk.
Clank.
Griffin missed the dunk, leaving both the Timberwolves crowd and even the announcers in confusion.
