EAST HAMPTON, N.Y. — A New York man has been arrested for a second time on charges he broke into Sean "Diddy" Combs's East Hampton mansion, where he apparently ate food, drank liquor and slept in one of the rap mogul's bedrooms, according to an arrest report issued Friday.
Quamine Taylor, 30, of Queens, was arrested at the sprawling home, where Diddy has played host to Hamptons hotshots at annual summertime soirees, on April 1. He is being held in the Suffolk County Jail on trespassing and petit larceny charges.
The unemployed 30-year-old has not posted $2,000 bail. He is due back in court next month.
According to the arrest report issued by the East Hampton Town Police, Taylor entered the home through an unlocked basement door at about 1:10 a.m. He then "ate food, drank soda and liquor and went to sleep in a bedroom upstairs."
Police responded at that time to an alarm at the house, but Taylor apparently convinced an investigating officer that he had permission from Combs to be there. That following afternoon at about 4:45 p.m., a caretaker at the house called police when she discovered Taylor there, telling officers he was not authorized to be in the home.
An officer who answered the telephone at the East Hampton Police Department on Friday said no one was available to answer questions about the case.
The police report notes that Taylor previously had been arrested at the home in June 2001. Information on the outcome of that case was not immediately available.
Taylor was represented at his arraignment on the misdemeanor charges in East Hampton Town Court by an attorney with Legal Aid, which has a policy of not commenting on pending cases.

"I stay there a lot, but Sean gets funny sometimes about me staying there," Taylor said.
Taylor's mother, who was not identified in the Post story, told the newspaper her son has a long history of mental illness.
A spokeswoman for Combs declined to comment.
In 2010, a Florida woman claiming to be Combs' wife was arrested in East Hampton. Authorities said she was found twice at a home she mistakenly thought was owned by Combs.
