Fans of "The Bachelor" probably know that it's been on the air for 16 seasons now, but what most people have been talking about as the show ramps up for a new season is the disturbing fact that every single bachelor to date has been white.
Show creator Mike Fleiss told Entertainment Weekly that people of color simply don't "come forward" to auditions the way white people do, so in order to counteract that perception, comedian Deon Cole volunteered himself for the next season on Thursday night's episode of "Conan."
He even went so far as to mock up an example rose ceremony to give the producers a taste of what his season might look like.
