Scott Brown, Wife In Auto Accident, Nobody Hurt

The spokeswoman for U.S. Sen. Scott Brown says the Massachusetts Republican, his wife and Senate aide were involved in a two-car accident, but nobody was injured.

WASHINGTON -- The spokeswoman for U.S. Sen. Scott Brown says the Massachusetts Republican, his wife and Senate aide were involved in a two-car accident, but nobody was injured.

Spokeswoman Marcie Kinzel says in a statement that Brown and his wife, Gail, were passengers in a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was involved in a two-car accident in Dedham, Mass., on Friday night. The accident occurred as the couple was en route to a Best Buddies charity fundraiser.

Kinzel says neither the Browns nor the driver, aide Chris Burgoyne, were injured.

I am glad she was uninjured... first because I do not like to hear of anyone being really hurt, or dying, and partially because the thought of Scott Brown getting a huge sympathy vote is fairly galling.

It's always good to know that no one is hurt in an auto accident. Having said that, it would be nice if Brown stepped aside and allowed Elizabeth Warren, a far superior human being than he is, to have his seat. She deserves it.

It would be nice if Elizabeth Warren ran at the local or state level first, to get some experience in elected office. It's nice that she wants to play senator, but experience is crucial.

Why should Scott Brown step aside for Elizabeth Warren. I don't think Elizabeth Warren is a far superior human being than Scott Brown. If she wants the Senate seat she needs to work for it. I know this is a difficult concept for the Democrats. You must work for what you need and want. What is with this entitlement attitude???
