Jamie Phillips Held Over Knife-Point Rape Of Teen Boy

Jamie Nichole Phillips is accused of raping a 14-year-old boy.

An Ohio woman has been charged with kidnapping, assault and rape after a 14-year-old boy reported she forced him into her home at knife-point and sexually assaulted him, authorities said.

Jamie Nichole Phillips, 20, faces up to 31 years in prison for the alleged crimes, which police say occurred April 7 at her Eastwood Drive apartment in Union Township.

Phillips is being held in the Clermont County Jail. Her cash bond is set at $200,000. She would have to post the entire amount to be released.

"She's alleged to have approached this boy in the parking lot of her apartment complex," Clermont County Prosecutor Don White told The Huffington Post.

"With a knife she forced [the victim] to go back to her apartment and forced him to participate in sexual acts," White said.

Phillips allegedly threatened the teen by placing the knife against his throat and chest, police said.

The alleged rape was interrupted when someone knocked on the woman's door and the boy fled. The boy told his friends about the incident and they encouraged him to come forward. The victim's family filed a police report on Easter Sunday.

According to police, investigators found a knife and other supporting evidence in Phillips' apartment. A Clermont County grand jury indicted her Wednesday for kidnapping, felonious assault, rape and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.

Asked by HuffPost if authorities uncovered a possible motive in the alleged assault, White replied, "I guess she just wanted to have sex. That's all I can figure out."

The district attorney said investigators found no evidence to indicate the woman had been under the influence of alcohol or drugs. The case, he added, has shocked the small community.

White said, "I've been doing this for over 30 years and have never seen anything like this."

Knives are too easy to get. When will we, as Americans, wake up and start making common-sense knife-control laws. This didn't have to happen, and it wouldn't've if we prevented criminals and even potential criminals (that means all Americans) from getting their hands on knives.

It's not sexist to point out the blatant disregard for the severity of this crime. People think of a man doing this they envision a deranged maniac who should be castrated. But a woman "huh, guess she just wanted sex." It's obviously not taken as seriously.

I find it hard to see how a woman could rape a man and have sex. The man has to be somewhat of a participate in the act for it to work. There is more to the story to come out. Lets see how this plays out. I am not sure my comment will pass the moderators.

Because a man has to be stimulated. I find it hard to believe a man could be when being forced. Maybe I am wrong, but in a violent situation, a male might not. I agree the abuse is still there.

Worse than that, he was a child. Not quite a man. She held him at knife point, who knows what she did to him. She raped him, and commited a terrible crime. Women can rape men, and probably get the same thrill out of the power they wield as men do. It's less about sex, and more about power. Thank goodness he is okay. Who knows what she would of done, if not interupted. Glad his friends had him go to the Police.

Rape hysteria goes right out the window when a woman does it. Womens Rights Groups never never come out publicly when a FEMALE predator is charged. This woman will be out of jail in 1 year if convicted. If a man had done this he would spend the rest of his life in jail. Will Women's Rights Advocates hold a press confrence to demand this women recieve the same jail sentence as men?

A lot of times the boy won't testify. He's either shamed or ridiculed out of it, & told he "got lucky".

The claim is there are legions of women wh odon't come forward, wven though they are BEGGED to, but I suspect there are far more male victims who can't come forward than female.

I am not buying this story. It will come out that he was a willing participant but got scared when someone he "knew" knocked on the door then the "rape' story took shape. I am not defending this woman at all, but the truth needs to come out.
