“But now that Americans are reeling from the skyrocketing gas and electricity prices that President Obama promised; angry that he stopped the Keystone pipeline and the tens of thousands of jobs it would have created; and outraged over the taxpayer dollars that were wasted on companies like Solyndra, President Obama doesn’t seem to be interested in touting these major accomplishments. Instead of standing in front of solar panels in California and defending his record, he ran all the way to Cushing, Oklahoma to stand in the middle of an oil field in an effort to convince the American people he’s for an all-of-the-above approach.

“It’s not likely that President Obama will be touting this endorsement; he will be running as far away from Big Green as he did from Solyndra while he’s looking for votes. Wolves are hunted because they cull elk herds and hunters want wolf trophies AND elk. It was a shameful thing to delist them as an endangered species. Wolves contribute a lot to their ecosystems, and the kill the oldest, sickest and weakest in deer and elk herds, not the strongest and biggest, like hunters do. Their presence makes streams and fish healthier since elk stay in trees to hide, and don't trample down and eat all the stream side growth. There are lots of ways wolves contribute to nature, and I'm sad Obama and Salazar ignored their importance.

Eco-nazis? Because you'd rather be dying at the same rate as Chinese are dying because there aren't controls on the pollution there? Whole villages dying of cancer. Yeah, let's be THAT kind of place. Neither Europe or the chinese want solar panels:
First Solar, a solar energy company that received a $1.46 billion loan guarantee from the Department of Energy, announced today that it will layoff 2,000 workers in the United States and world-wide.
The company will “indefinitely idle” four production lines in Malaysia and shutter a plant in Germany. “These actions, combined with other personnel reductions in Europe and the U.S., will reduce First Solar’s global workforce by approximately 2,000 positions, about 30 percent of the total,” First Solar announced today. …
In December, First Solar laid off 100 employees at a Santa Clara , Calif., plant. The DOE has committed $1.46 billion to a project in Riverside County, California EXPECTED TO CREATE 15 PERMANENT JOBS and 550 Temporary Construction Jobs.

Completely delusional. Europe is futher ahead in their implimentation of solar and other sustainable E. than the US, particularly Germany. China is going to make out like a bandit from anything using rare earth minerals, like PV panels, until other forms are more readily available.

Your opinion is a poor substitute for reality.

I saw it first hand in Spain, where I live part of the years, bird killers and solar panels rusting in the fields that were once fertile lands.

Absolutely not. Fellow travelers. Farrakhan gave a speech last weekend. He is disenchanted with the WHO and has predicted that the WHO will be slain. LF's beef is that WHO loves money more than elevating the black race. Farrakhan also indicated he was responsible for Malcolm X's murder in a prior speech. Perhaps all is not well in WHO's former voter base. Still, watching cemeteries around the country will help keep voting places honest.

In 1982 , Paul Watson said the following: “We should never feel like we’re going too far in breaking the law. There’s nothing wrong with being a terrorist, as long as you win." He was then elected to the board of directors of the Sierra Club in 2003, and resigned in 2006 over an article entitled "why I Hunt".
During the 1980s, some Sierra Club members, including Paul Ehrlich's wife Anne, wanted to take the Club into the contentious field of immigration to the United States. The Club's position was that overpopulation was a significant factor in the degradation of the environment. Accordingly, the Club supported stabilizing and reducing U.S. and world population.
Michael Brune is the current executive director of the Sierra Club. He said the following when he was elected:
"I think clearly right now focusing on administrative actions, regulatory actions, and perhaps more narrow but stronger legislation that would focus on reducing oil consumption and increasing the inventory of clean energy that is available. There’s a lot that can happen through the EPA [Environmental Protection Agency] to protect the public health that
Eight years from now we could have a third of the coal fleet replaced with clean energy.”will accelerate a transition away from dirty coal-fired power plants."
There is a political agenda behind the Sierra Club. That's true of most organizations. The question is which side you support.

I suggest you read what has happened in the last 30 years not only with Sierra but other environmental organizations.

You are like the tinhat guy on here who keeps screaming "Black Panthers are coming"....
because a dozen guys show up dressed in black with patches on their jackets.

A perfect example of someone who doesn't ever read, gets no valid news or information anywhere....is clueless about issues, government and probably isn't registered to vote.

Obama should proudly proclaim endorsed by the American people, supported by many groups and organizations. Ready to move to the future with those wanting to build a new society. Romney's continual parade of unenthusiastic endorsements, made as if family members are being held hostage in a Dick Cheney dungeon, are a running joke. The Obama campaign should not allow any appearance of seeking so-called endorsements.
