After earning itself a Facebook group, a TLC movie special, a namesake surgical procedure and a special shout-out from Justin Timberlake, it's safe to say that this was the Year of Pippa's Bum.
To be fair, the "Crazy About Pippa" TV movie focused on her persona as a whole. (We're sure she's got a great personality!) But since the moment she stepped onto the red carpet at the Royal Wedding twelve months ago, all eyes have been fixated at the famous sib's most enviable feature.
First came the Pippa Middleton Ass Appreciation Society, a Facebook page still going strong with 242,828 likes. The rest is history, including:
Praise from Justin Timberlake: "Us American males are big fans of Pippa. We like the Middletons very much. I'm going to sound like a sleazeball. I'm going to stop right there."
Plastic surgery named after her: "The Pippa Buttlift" becomes a thing.
A lift (ha!) in padded underwear sales: "She has set the standard for how a perfect rear should appear," said a retailer.
The backlash: Critics suggest Pippa's signature feature is actually padded, naysayers found the Pippa Middleton HAS NO ASS ! Appreciation Society and Middleton loses the Rear of the Year contest to British TV host Carol Vorderman.
Lately Pippa's been getting her butt in even more trouble with things unconcerning her body, namely that pesky gun incident. But when you get down to the bottom of it, it's that famous figure that's earned her our love and affection.
