the only american troops whose national service deserves respect are the ones who refuse to fight in america's illegal, immoral wars. there is no honor in obeying criminal orders, and there are no orders given by our military in these wars that are legal. soldiers can legally become conscientious objectors, and they should do that. take a stand, make a choice not to support the war crimes of those who direct our military to violate international law and the universal laws of human rights.

I may be in the minority here... but this sort of thing is as old as war. We can't expect guys to go out to war, be told to kill! Kill! Kill! and then expect them not to feel a sense of pride for doing their job. This isn't civilian life and we can't be shocked when the men in uniform don't act like they are at a tea party.

From a diplomatic and PR standpoint well this obviously isn't good but I don't expect the average GI to have to worry about that.

I have no idea of the things our soldiers go through, not going to pretend I do,I also will not put them down for taking a pic with a dead terrorist, they didnt kill him,he killed himself.I dont judge people, because I havent walked in their shoes.I DO think Americans are exceptional, especially our soldiers.
