10 Minutes To Make This Chic Vase

There's nothing too impressive about an old coffee can or ball of rope. But, when you combine the two, you're left with this simple yet stunning Craft Of The Day. We love the shabby chic feel of these do-it-yourself vases. Clustered together, they make a unique and elegant centerpiece perfect for the kitchen table. But why stop with vases? We can see ourselves using this easy rope-wrapping technique on anything from glass bottles to lamp bases. Keep reading for the how-to.

What You'll Need:
A coffee can
A long piece of rope
Glue
Glass jar to fit inside coffee can

How To Make It:
1. Hot glue your rope along the bottom of the can.
2. Continue wrapping your rope around the can, gluing it in place every few inches until you reach the top.
3. Trim any excess rope.
4. Put a glass jar inside the can that you can easily remove to clean or fill with water.
5. Fill your vase with flowers.
