'Ghost Hunters': Marine Ghost Gives Physical Response, So They Bring Out His Mother (VIDEO)

'Ghost Hunters' Get Physical Response From Ghost Marine

The "Ghost Hunters" (Wed., 9 p.m. ET on Syfy) headed to Annapolis, Maryland this week to investigate a spectral presence at the U.S. Naval Institute. Their target was a young lieutenant whose death was declared a suicide, but many believe it was murder. As no one was ever convicted for his murder, he's believed to now be haunting the facility.

One of his known tricks is closing doors, and that's exactly what the team almost caught on camera. They caught the sound, but didn't get the visual on camera. Nevertheless, they took it as a very hopeful sign, and pulled out a picture of his mother.

For three days after his death she believed he was reaching out to her to tell her he'd been murdered. So they were hoping to get a reaction out of the ghost with her picture. They did capture what sounded like a voice speaking, but they determined that the spirit meant no harm.
