What's wrong with the ole self serving poll? There's a poll out by Stillow for Stillow showing him leading Obama 65/35.........

You must have a bigger polling budget than Mourdock ;-)

Indiana is tough for Democrats period, but I think Obama might still help bring victory, in the Chicago suburbs. I mean, I think the reason he won it in 2008 was he was from Chicago which is a stone's throw from part of the state. Like Northern VA, the Indiana suburbs of Chicago are growing.

This could be a Sharron Angle moment, or Chrstine O'donnell moment, and the senate seat could be in play for the Democrats if Lugar loses the primary. Even if Democrats don't win in 2012, It will give them a reason to get out there and fight.

Do you know if the Democrats have any legitimate first-tier challengers in the event Mourdock wins?

I think the Democrats have a longterm member of congress running, or at least running if Lugar loses the primary. There might be other strong candidates emerging too.
