Rachel Maddow stopped by the Bravo clubhouse Wednesday night and opened up about Keith Olbermann's departure from Current TV.
Early in the show, host Andy Cohen asked Maddow if she has spoken with Olbermann since he left MSNBC. She said she had not but clarified that it was not because they were at odds with one another.
When asked if she was surprised to hear about "what went down" with Olbermann and Current TV, Maddow said she was "totally shocked" and "did not know it was coming." She added, "I'm a liberal, I want there to be lots of places for people to be a liberal on TV. I want that to exist." She then joked, "I hear this Bravo place is nice, but in a different kind of way!" On Current TV's future, Maddow said, "I want liberals to have jobs in the media so I want Current to do well."
