Nikki Haley Poses For Vogue (PHOTOS)

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley strikes a pose in the May issue of Vogue as she promotes her new book, a memoir her fellow Republicans have described as a work of fiction.

Even though Haley rode the Tea Party into office in 2010, she told Vogue that she didn't know if she was a Republican or Democrat when she first considered running for state legislature, and it was Hillary Clinton who inspired her to run.

"She said there will be all of these reasons that people tell you you can’t do it," Haley said. "She said that there’s only one reason for you to do it, and it’s because you know it’s the right thing. I walked out of there thinking, I’ve got to do this."
