This Week In Beauty: The Best & Worst From April 15-22, 2012 (PHOTOS)

We spend lots of time focusing on what stars wear, but what about what they put on their faces? Although makeup may not seem important, plenty of women won't leave home without it.

In a survey, two-thirds of British women said that heading to the office bare-faced caused them more stress than public speaking, going on a first date or enduring a job interview. 91 percent of women surveyed would rather cancel a first date altogether than go without makeup on. And in the U.S., women spend around $7 billion on cosmetics every year.

And that doesn't even include hair. The AP recently reported that in 1950, about seven percent of women dyed their hair. Today? 95 percent or more.

With all that beauty-obsession (and our own love of makeup) in mind, we're taking a look at This Week In Beauty. From this week forward, we'll be showcasing the best, worst and most interesting styles of hair, makeup and nails that we came across this week. Take a look, get inspired and vote for your faves!

Much as I like Sharon and Ozzie, Kelly should not be held up for ANY beauty standard. She doesn't have any.

I simply do not understand WHY she is on "The Fashion Police". I love the show and think that Kelly is fun, but I simply can't take her fashion advise seriously.

Everyone on your BEST AND WORST LIST looked great!!!! Each woman was immaculate looking, well, dressed and beautifully made up.
As for Kelly Osbourne, she was dressed the way the daughter of Ozzie would dress and, in fact, the way thousands of kids and early twenty-somethings dress. Her hair is not gray....there's a trace of purple going through it which matches the very normal color lipstick of today. Why are people so hard on women and so fast to criticize ingenuity.
I do agree Kelly looks like she needs a shower in the last photo.

That orange lipstick trend is awful! It looks superb on women of color and just seems to make them look really sexy; however, when white women wear it, it is atrocious and fades them out bigtime! I'm afraid our darker skin sisters have it all over us white gals when it comes to this trend!

I just called my sister last week to comment on the topic of KO critiqueing fashion----she wears horrible looking clothes, has the nastiest(ugliest) tatoos down her forearms and that ridiculous hair color----(my sister and i often quip about trivial matters that are hilarious and ironic that are deemed newsworthy)-----where are her credentials? seriously? But-the others don't have many either---simpleton entertainment------idiot television at its finest.
