It's no secret we spend a lot of time browsing on Pinterest for fun crafts and DIY inspiration. This week, we couldn't help but click on this photo of lovely painted jar candles.

We weren't the only ones impressed. With more than 5,000 re-pins and 850 likes, this simple yet stunning project has been making the rounds on craft idea boards across the popular social networking site. So how can you make these elegant luminaries yourself? Blogger Sophie of The Forge wrapped different sized jars with a piece of yarn before spray painting everything white. When she removed the string, she was left with an interesting criss-cross pattern that glows when a tea light is placed inside the jar.
