Today is Earth day . My class is going on a field trip . I went to at least four different store yesterday hoping to purchase a t-shirt for the special occasion . However i did not find any . Stores used to sell those shirts supporting earth day . I did see a lot of shirts supporting the latest basketball games and other up coming sports events. I guess sports is more important than the earth we live in !

Well Earth Day is over for another and the celebration will wain off, But in reality every day should be Earth Day, we all need to make an effort to apply Eco friendly living ways so that we can reduce our dependent consumption of the earths resources.

Looks like India has the issues!!! Send the Serria club, all of them to India for ever. The EPA should go along. Leave America alone.

You will one day turn on your AC against all your greene beliefs on a 110 deg day and guess what? No wind, the wind is not blowing, no hydro due to low lake levels and no coal units to generate the power to keep you cool. due to all the CSPL, MECURY LAWS, AND PARTICULIATE LAWS.

I am glad I have a desiel generator I can fire up on those hot summer days when the utilities have to shut off power to save the grid.

Good job EPA and all you greenies I hope you have a heat stroke

Composting will be required later.

People celebrated Earth Day 2012

Opossum - I just sh ot two of those little buggers in my backyard.  They're not nice to my two Italian Greyhounds and the wife's gato.

The world added a billion people in the last 12 years and continues to grow. This is not sustainable.

Every country needs to balance its population with resources, water, food, energy and jobs.

1. You don't understand "fertility rate." People can still reproduce while not growing the overall population.

2. It's not the other species over populating the earth and consuming the biosphere. We'd like more reproduction for many of the other species. You know, like the ones we've about wiped out.

Even snark has to display some familiarity with the issues to work. That's why Glenn Beck never quite succeeded as snark, despite the hilarious gold coin peddling riff of his.

Hope this helps!

Ron Reagan said that 92% of air pollution was caused by trees and Mt St Helen, according to the GOP we are at war with the environment; it’s the environment or us. Do not be mistaken by the Romney reset currently underway, they will destroy this planet to save it. Is that what you want?
09:08 PM on 04/22/2012
It is very nice that we celebrate Earth Day. But until China, India, Eastern Europe and every other hell hole on Earth starts taking pollution seriously, Earth Day will amount to just another day on the calendar.

Before you can point fingers look at your own back yard!!!!

I know that Canada has it's own issues with the environment, but we try. The countries I mentioned especially China and India are doing absolutely nothing to stop pollution.
