This week on "Khloe & Lamar" (Sun., 10 p.m. ET on E!), Lamar Odom and his new team were headed back to Los Angeles for his first professional return to the city he'd spent so many years in. It was understandably a very stressful time for him, and a return he wasn't sure he was ready for.
He had no idea what kind of reception he might receive, and he worried how the fans would react. He truly loved the Los Angeles Lakers and their fans, and he never wanted to leave the team. Would they understand? Or, as WetPaint suggested, did they even know the real reasons he left the team?
Everyone was apprehensive, but they needn't have been. The fans not only welcomed Lamar back with open arms and applause, but they gave him a standing ovation. The team put up a video commemorating his years with them and welcomed him back as well. It was more than anyone could have hoped, and as Khloe suggested, just what Lamar needed.
