Iran Unplugs Oil Facilities From Internet

TEHRAN, Iran (AP) — An Iranian official says the country's oil industry is working well despite an attack from hackers and a computer virus that targeted the sector's computer systems.

Deputy minister for oil and civil defense Hamdollah Mohammadnejad says all field units and exports of crude have continued working without interruptions. His remarks were reported Tuesday by state IRNA news agency.

Iran announced on Monday it was forced to disconnect the country's main oil export terminal from the Internet as a preventive measure after a cyberattack.

The Islamic Republic periodically reports cyberattacks to its nuclear and industrial sectors, saying that little damage was caused.

Iran is at odds with Israel and the West over its controversial nuclear program.

I think it's funny how everyone thinks the Arabs or Iranians set the prices when in fact it's those speculators and the market that dictates oil prices. The price of oil should be regulated just like electricity, and until the speculators are taken away and oil is taken off the commodities markets prices will just continue to go higher and higher. In the 4 years YOUR President Obamalama has been President the price of oil and gasoline has doubled. That has never happened before, but it's not his fault though is it?? BS!!!!

NOTHING iran does is for peaceful purposes.
The koran demands islam drive out, convert or rape all non-muslim women & children, kill all non-muslim men.
