Chelsea's Fernando Torres controls the ball during the UEFA Champions League second leg semi-final football match against Barcelona.

Chelsea completed one of the remarkable results in the history of European football (European soccer just doesn't sound right) by snatching a 2-2 draw with Barcelona at the Camp Nou. Chelsea led 1-0 going into the semifinal's second leg, but they found themselves down 2-0 and with captain John Terry sent off for an act that is on the Ron Artest level of stupidity. Down to ten men, Ramires scored a stunning goal right before the break to put Chelsea level on aggregate, but ahead on the away goals rule. It was then up to the Ten Men of Chelsea (all soccer commentators are contractually obligated to refer to a team playing a man down as The Ten Men of ____) to see out the last 45 minutes without allowing another goal. Chelsea managed that unbelievable feat, and even scored themselves in the closing minutes on this Fernando Torres breakaway.

The Torres goal and shocking result led to a unique reaction from Sky analyst Gary Neville, formerly of Manchester United. I've quite enjoyed Neville's analysis during Champions League games, but was taken aback when he let out this strange moaning sound when Torres closed in on an open goal. Without high-level commentary, even a great football match suffers. Neville's unplanned release was the icing on the cake of this epic match. Great stuff. A noise for all time. I don't particularly like Chelsea but was punching the air in ecstasy over this outcome. What a match. And Gary Neville, whose contributions in the booth I mostly enjoy anyway, is an instant hero for life. Immortal.
