Barbra Streisand Turns 70

Barbra Streisand turns 70 today!

Last month marked the 50th anniversary of Streisand's career. Over five decades, Streisand has achieved 51 gold albums, won a Tony, two Oscars, five Emmys, and eight Grammy Awards.

In 2011 the celebrated singer released "What Matters Most", an album in which she sings the lyrics of Alan and Marilyn Bergman. In her latest film role, Streisand takes a road trip as the mother of Seth Rogen in the comedy "The Guilt Trip."

Streisand offered her thoughts on aging to Parade in 2009 saying:

"You get older, and it's a bit of a shock. I still feel so young inside. And that's me in the mirror? It must be harder to age if you were known as a beauty queen. So I'm kind of fortunate. But, in truth, I'm happier than I ever was in my life. I have a husband who loves me, and I have this beautiful piece of the Earth."
