This morning, news was announced that Newt Gingrich has decided to suspend his campaign -- finally. After overcoming the initial shock that Newt Gingrich is still in the race wears off, we hope America can accept that we won't have Newt to kick around anymore.
After months of an uphill battle to win the GOP nomination despite a brief surge last fall, Newt seems to have finally accepted the inevitable fact that Mitt Romney will be the Republican nominee for President in 2012.
But for some reason, Gingrich will still spend another week campaigning ("as a citizen," he says) before formally suspending his campaign next Tuesday. So what will he spend the next week doing? We have our predictions.
